Story:

Plus Points:

Ayushmann Khurrana once again slips comfortably into the role of a relatable middle-class man. With his natural comic timing, he does his best to keep the film engaging and shoulders most of the entertainment.

Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh add glamour to the film and look impressive on screen. Wamiqa Gabbi also leaves a strong impact with a solid performance and manages to hold her own in an important role.

Minus Points:

Despite having three female leads at the center of the drama, the story feels surprisingly thin and lacks depth. Many scenes feel overly familiar, almost as if they’ve been borrowed from older Bollywood films.

While the first half manages to stay somewhat engaging, the second half slows down considerably after the interval. Several unnecessary scenes stretch the runtime and eventually make the film feel tiring.

The writing turns out to be one of the film’s weakest points, with a flat narrative that rarely surprises the audience. Tanishk Bagchi’s music relies heavily on remixes, while the background score remains average.

A sharper edit could have significantly improved the pacing, especially in the second half. That said, the production values are decent and suit the scale of the film well.

Overall, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do falls short of delivering the fun-filled entertainer many might expect. Ayushmann Khurrana’s performance and the screen presence of the three leading ladies stand out as the film’s biggest strengths. However, a weak storyline, sluggish screenplay, and ineffective comedy ultimately make this a disappointing watch. If you’re searching for a genuinely entertaining comedy this weekend, this one may not be the best pick.
