Abhirami plays a homemaker concerned about her daughter’s tough attitude. However, when danger knocks at their door, she transforms into someone who can take down goons without hesitation. The actress delivers a fantastic performance, and her transformation sequence during the interval is likely to earn loud cheers from the audience.

Director Subash K Raj attempts to make things interesting by surrounding the story with quirky characters, but viewers expecting something completely fresh may feel mildly disappointed. Also, a couple of villain-related scenes in the first half could have been written more convincingly.

Ravi Basrur’s background score occasionally reminds viewers of music styles from some blockbuster films, although it improves noticeably in the latter half. Arun Radhakrishnan deserves praise for capturing the action scenes effectively and making them more impactful. The production values are solid, while the editing works much better in the second half.

Subash K Raj, who handled both writing and direction, chooses a familiar story but presents it in an entertaining way. His confidence as a filmmaker is visible in several key moments.
